June 12 2009 - 12 of 12

June 2009 marks the first month I'm joining in on the awesome worldwide Chad Darnell Project. The challenge is to take 12 photos of your day on the 12th day of the month and post them for everyone to enjoy. Fun fun!

*********************************************************************************
I started out my day by watering the garden outside, I'm so lucky!

*********************************************************************************
Then I did some editing of a bunch of really talented kids from a weekend intensive I taught out of state. The final DVD is going to several talent agents in Hollywood, fingers crossed kids!

*********************************************************************************
Then I was off to teach a kid's voice-over class. Pictured below is one of my students the adorable David Militello. I had the kids write their own story today. They decided they were in Pixie Hollow and were all fairies and animals...until the last kid went, he was the "hunter" who came in and killed them all. Gotta love kids!

*********************************************************************************
Ok, so this is my new webcam that I just installed last night. Very exciting! But, notice how the webcam is blurry in the photo but "gratitude" in the background is crystal clear. Just a nice reminder of what's really important and what to focus on. :)

*********************************************************************************
So now that I'm done watching every "Yopliat" commercial on the web (doing homework for a commercial audition today)...I'd better get out of here and get going.

*********************************************************************************
Saw this beautiful jacaranda tree and jasmine bush - what a street corner, I just had to pull over and take a pic! It's so beautiful how the jacaranda leaves are carpeting the sidewalk. The photo doesn't do it justice...it smelled like heaven. There sure are some gorgeous areas of Los Angeles.

*********************************************************************************
This is me applying lipstick in the rear view mirror before heading in for the "Yoplait" commercial audition. So glamorous isn't it?

*********************************************************************************
On the way home from the audition I saw these pretty palm trees and jumped out of the car to snaps some pics.

*********************************************************************************
This is Reggie the dog, he barked at my while I was taking the photo of the palm trees above. I don't know what his real name is but that's what I called him when I told him to stop barking at me. He did...so I took his pic. He's very regal looking don't you think?

*********************************************************************************

Transformers 2 billboard! My sweetie Jim and I are going to the premier in a few weeks with our friend Tom who is one of the producers. People call us Jimberly, no really they do.

*********************************************************************************
The new thing in Los Angeles, they're posting warning signs so you'll know what type of people live in the area. My ex must live near-by.

*********************************************************************************
This just tickled me. I mean come on people, we've got
expectations here...this is Hollywood not Paris.

*********************************************************************************

Until next time...remember to enjoy the scenery of what we call "life".

  1. Welcome to 12 of 12. Great shots. Loved the jacaranda tree and jasmine bush shot, what a beautiful picture.

Also love the DIP sign. Bill Cosby had a great routine in the 60s about driving in San Francisco and mentions the LA Dip signs.

Reggie (love the name too) looks so cute! And good luck with the audition - if it helps, you totally look like someone who would enjoy eating yoghurt on TV and influence me too as well ;-) And I don't like yoghurt!
